Scott Wilson

Homebrew type:
All-grain, lagers, ales, cider, and mead.

Year you started brewing:
2002 after a friend at work, Mike Reilley, got me interested.

Favorite commercial:
Anything at the Selinsgrove Brewery, Troegs Hopback Amber.

Favorite homebrew:
"A Dim Wit from Shamokin", my version of Belgian Witbier, Bavarian Weizens, Scottish Ales, American Pale Ales, All Belgians, especially Triples.

Why you homebrew:
The best beer I drink is homebrewed. I find homebrewing very challenging and it's the most rewarding hobby I ever got involved in. I am motivated by competitions and sharing my beers with friends and relatives. I have fun speading the news about good beer. I think it's neat to sway someone away from "zombie" beer and expose them to them a whole new and amazing world of beer. I especially enjoy meeting new friends via my hobby....homebrewing!
